The airport has just the one terminal building, which is well-equipped to serve passengers’ needs. You’ll find ATMs, currency exchanges, postal facilities, a number of shops, including duty-free outlets and a newsagent. There’s a food court serving refreshments and full meals at a selection of snack bars, cafes and restaurants.
Airport information: +44 1446 711111
Transportation: the airport is easily accessed by rail and road, with a new rail line linking the terminal hourly to the city centre and bus services running at all hours. National Express coaches operate frequently-scheduled services to Cardiff’s central bus station, from which point you can make connections onward to many UK destinations.
Parking: short-term and long-term car parks are available at the Cardiff airport, with reserved parking for disabled passengers available at both facilities. The car parks are close to the terminal and offer excellent security, as well as online booking for your convenience. Short-term parking is charged by the hour, so is mostly suitable for stays of less than one day.
Tickets are issued on entering the car park and the tariff is paid at automatic payment machines before leaving the parking facility. For long-term parking needs, you’ll find rates considerably lower and service provided by courtesy shuttle bus to the terminal building.
