Introduction to Corwen, Wales
Corwen in Denbighshire, North Wales is a very peaceful and quiet place to visit. When staying here, visitors are almost always guaranteed a good sleep due to the serene nature of the area. Corwen hotels are typically used by ramblers, mountain bikers and rock climbers. There might only be a handful of places to stay to choose from, but every one is clean, tidy and has a good range of facilities. With lakes, rivers and golf courses nearby, visitors have plenty of things to do. Boat trips or days out fishing and canoeing can all be arranged. Attractions in the town itself include some remains of a Norman castle, the 13th century church of St Mael and St Sulien along with the Capel Rug, which dates from the mid-17th century. Although the town may feel remote from larger cities, it is situated along the A5 which connects it to Shrewsbury, Telford and eventually London.
