Introduction to Bridgend, Wales
The town of Bridgend in South Wales is a well developed one. It has a vibrant nightlife and is conveniently compact, making it very easily to walk around the whole town. There is a good range of accommodation here to suit all budgets. In the town itself are the 12th century castles of Bridgend: Coity Castle, Newcastle Castle and Ogmore Castle, which are all fantastic to visit. Many golfers stay in Bridgend hotels as there are many golf courses nearby on the beautiful southwest coast of Wales, such as Royal Porthcawl and Links/Downland. The town has many bars on Nolton Street and Brewery Lane as well as restaurants evenly distributed along the High Street. The places to stay, some of which are Georgian manor type houses, have a good array of entertainment areas such as nightclubs, cinemas and of course, the Annual Porthcawl Elvis Festival in September.other spellings: bridgedhotels, otelin bridgd, brided hotell, brdged hote, bidged, briged hotes
