Po Klong Garai Tower: is a Cham tower standing on the top of the hill with a complex of a sanctuary, a smaller gate tower and a repository. Located west of Phan Rang, the complex of towers dates back to the 13th century during the rule of Jaya Simhavaranman II, is a fine masterpiece reflecting the glory of the Cham Empire.
The main tower was built to worship Po Klong Garai King. As the towers were built on the hilltop, tourists can also witness breathtaking views of the entire valley and surrounding countryside.
Ho Chi Minh's House and Duc Thanh School: Ho Chi Minh’s former house now houses a fascinating historical museum divided into two parts: the memorial and flower gardens; and the two-storey buildings with showrooms showcasing objects relating to his life and also the rich history of Phan Thiet.
The museum enjoys an ideal location overlooking the Ca Ty River. Visitors can also stop by the Duc Thanh School to trace down Ho Chi Minh’s life when he was a student. Ho Chi Minh’s old writing table and his woodened bed are on display at the school.
You can also choose to climb all the way to the top of the lighthouse to feel the breeze and admire stunning views over the sea, the mainland’s hills, forests, valleys and white sandy beaches.
Mui Ne Village: located in the Mui Ne Beach district, is a lovely little fishing village worth visiting if you want to observe the lifestyle of local fishermen. Walk over to the harbour with picturesque views of the sea and make a stop at a small market selling local products and fresh fish.
Van Thuy Tu Temple: is an old, one-of-a-kind temple dedicated to the whales. The temple contains over 100 whale skeletons and other bizarre fish species. The most noteworthy is a 22-metre whale skeleton. Recognised as a National Relic Site in 1996, the temple is easily accessible and located on Ngu Ong Street.
