Hue is somewhat of a quiet and reserved town, although there are a number of decent beaches with activities available not far from the city, which are easy to get to. Apart from the swimming, relaxing seems to be the main purpose of visiting most beaches, while shopping and eating out in Hue can be a pleasure where market stalls and local specialities are plentiful.
