By air: the most convenient way to travel to Dalat is by air. Vietnam Airlines operates daily flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Dalat’s airport is 30 kms south of town off Highway 20. From there, you can take a minibus to the city. The tickets for minibuses can be purchased at the snack counter inside the airport.
Simply tell the driver the name of your hotel or else you will be taken to the Vietnam Airlines office downtown. There are also taxis and motorcycles waiting outside the airport to take you to the city centre, while regular bus services run between Dalat and Danang, Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Boun Ma Thout and Pleiku.
