Introduction to Qui Nhon - Beach
Qui Nhon is a relaxing seaside town on the South China Sea coast of central Vietnam. The town's train station is on the main north-south Reunification Express line, midway between the busier resorts of Hoi An and Nha Trang. The station at Qui Nhon is about a 500m walk from the picturesque town beach. Qui Nhon Beach hotels along the esplanade range in standard, from cosy backpacker places to luxury four-star establishments. Eateries in the district offer seafood specialities, baguettes, pancakes, pho soups and steaks. The beach itself offers golden sands that are perfect for leisurely strolls and temperate blue seas for swimming. Vendors along the beach sell snacks and souvenirs. Attractions in the area behind the beach are a vibrant market, a small museum and the Victory Monument. The town and the locality are flat and the easiest way of reaching other beaches and the historic Cham temples on the edge of town is to rent a bicycle from one of the shops in the beach precinct.
