Introduction to Ninh Binh - City Centre
The town of Ninh Binh is at the heart of North Vietnam's spectacular Red River Delta region. The town's railway station is on the Reunification Express route between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The station is close to the centre of the city, near restaurants and ambient cafe-bars. Travellers can sample a mix of Western and Eastern with pho noodle soup, goat fried rice, Vietnamese dumplings, baguettes and fresh coffee - often served in the same establishment. Apart from an interesting cathedral, the town itself has few tourist attractions and most people use Ninh Binh City Centre hotels as a base for travelling to the myriad attractions in the area including Tam Coc and the national park at Cuc Phuong, both just outside the city. Bicycle hire and tours to the sites in the area can be arranged through local agents. The city centre is rather devoid of tourist sights, with most visitors simply opting to enjoy a glass or two of the locally brewed bia hoi beer by the river instead of sightseeing. other spellings: ninhbinhhotels city, ninh bin otel center, ninfinh city hotell, hote in nin bin, hotes binh
