Famed as the site of the Battle of Hoa Binh, the city of Hoa Binh can be found in the province of the same name. It is located just 76kms from Hanoi, and a large number of people travel here on a daytrip to visit the former battleground. The gently flowing Da River is situated just five kilometres from town, and taking a cruise along it is the perfect way to see the area and soak up its intense natural beauty.
