Introduction to Hai Phong - City Centre
Hai Phong, considered to be the third-biggest city in the country, is a port city in northern Vietnam. It is the gateway to Cat Ba Island and Do Son beach resort, not to mention the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. The port is located in the city centre, meaning that Hai Phong City Centre hotels are convenient for tourists with early morning boat departures. Central tourist attractions include pagodas, temples and shrines. Shoppers will find that the city centre is a great place to buy shoes, especially around Nguyen Duc Canh Street. Guests should try to visit some local restaurants to sample local specialities such as banh da cua, a delicious noodle soup with crab, and banh beo, a white rice cake filled with meat. The city is easily accessible from Hanoi, with regular bus departures from Luong Yen Station as well as trains from Long Bien Station. Both trains and buses terminate in Hai Phong city centre.other spellings: haiphonghotels city, haiphong otel, hayphong cityhotell, hai pong hote, haipong center
