Nightlife

Nightlife in Vanuatu
Port Vila is home to a number of nightclubs with music and dancing. There is also a cinema. Organised evening cruises are available with wine, snacks and island music. Traditional music and dancing can be seen at a variety of island celebrations to which visitors are welcome and several hotels also arrange evening entertainment and dancing.
Some of Vila’s best nightspots are the Ni-Vanuatu discos scattered about town. If you want to visit one, it’s best to go with someone who knows the nightclub scene.
Nightlife typically kicks off with a shell of kava. Many kava nakamals can be found around Port Vila and Luganville in Santo. The reception or guest relations desks at your hotel are good sources to help you find the best one in the area. Some of the most popular include Ronnie’s Nakamal in Nambatu, the Red Light Nakamal near the hospital and Crows Nest Nakamal.
If you’re in the mood for a waver, Vila offers a small selection of casinos. Palms Casino at Le Meridien Resort, open until early morning, has blackjack, roulette, baccarat and poker machines. There are also poker machines at Club 21 (Melanesian), Club Vanuatu in Vila, as well as at the Santo Sports Club in Luganville.
