Inoculations should be taken at least six weeks prior to travel or at the discretion of your doctor. You are also advised to bring with you all regular medication that you normally consume as it may be difficult to purchase medicines here.

It can get very hot on the island, even in winter, and it would be advisable to bring some sun block and a hat. You are also advised to stay indoors during from noon till approximately 15:00, when the sun is at its peak. Drink only bottled water while on the island.
