Tranquillity Island Lodge Hotel - Moso Island

Tranquillity is one of Vanuatus best kept secrets. It is a dive base with outdoor and Eco Tourism activities including Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Swimming, Reef Walking, Kayaking, Canoeing, Hiking, Cave Exploring or just relaxing on the beaches. Accommodation is not the normal western style accommodation, but island style thatched bungalows (fares) ideal for the adventurous traveler, very basic and simple with concrete floor. All Fares are set on the waters edge with separate bathroom facilities, a separate fare to the rear with hot and cold showers and flush toilets. There is no power in the fares, only solar light, which is enough to see by but not enough to read by. No air conditioning, no glass windows. The window gap between roof and walls is insect screened.

No restaurant as such. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in the Beach House. Meals are part of a meal package, which can be purchased on site. This is necessary because of the isolated location of the lodge. There are no shops on the island. Most meals are made from local, naturally organic food. The menu is a revolving set menu however guests can advise if they wish vegetarian or other special dishes. A limited bar service with beer, soft drinks and wine is available.
