Huntington is over on the West Virginia/Ohio border in the west of the state. It sits on the south bank of the Ohio River, where there are many Huntington hotels, and has a fairly spread out downtown area. The town is easy to get to via interstate highway and is also served by train and has a university to boot. Third Avenue, near to the river, has a good complement of accommodations, as does do 5th Avenue and 8th Avenue, farther south, plus there are also several establishments along the Midland Trail (Route 60) coming into the boundary. Be sure to visit the Huntington Museum of Art and see the unique shops of West Huntington. Pullman Square is another top draw with its shops and restaurants and is close to the properties, while Veterans Memorial Boulevard is perfect for sunsets across the river. The Keith Albee Theatre and Ritter and Rotary parks are other top attractions.
