United Arab Emirates (UAE) Travel Guide

Health

Health for Visitors to United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Although tap water is potable, you may prefer the taste of bottled mineral water. In any case, it is important to carry water with you at all times and to drink plenty of it, as the heat you’ll experience here can cause dehydration.
No immunisations are required for visitors entering the UAE. Hepatitis is quite rare and can be avoided if you take the proper precautions. Hepatitis A, for example, is transmitted by water and food that are contaminated; and hepatitis B, C, D are typically transmitted by blood transfusions, the re-use of hypodermic needles or sexual contact.
