Dubai Heritage Village: is the first stage in a massive undertaking designed to transform the Sindagha area into a living museum of traditional Dubai life. Traditional arts and crafts of the Gulf region are created by weavers and potters who offer demonstrations of their skills while dressed in traditional costume.
Other attractions and activities include performances of songs and dances, camel rides, boat rides on the creek using traditional wooden abras – and pearl diving demonstrations.

There’s also a section in the museum devoted to the pearl industry, which was an important economic aspect of Dubai’s past.

Sheikh Saeed’s House: dates to 1896, and ranks as one of the city’s most architecturally significant buildings. During his rule of Dubai from 1912 to 1958, Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum made his home here.
