Abu Dhabi Travel Guide - Weather
The summer months and the early fall can be quite uncomfortable, with temperatures exceeding 40°C, and the humidity reaching almost 100 per cent. A tempering feature is Abu Dhabi’s position on the seacoast, with a constant breeze coming in off the Persian Gulf, helping make conditions more tolerable.
Temperatures range from daytime highs of 24°C in the winter months to over 40°C during the summer. Night-time temperatures drop to around 10°C in the summer.
You’ll want to pack plenty of light, loose clothing items that will be great for the weather but still work for the conservative nature of the country. When visiting in the winter, be sure to take into account the cooler desert nights. However, you can always pick up some lovely local items in the souks to cover up as well.
