Most of Abu Dhabi’s nightclubs are found in the luxury hotels, and as the venues are upscale, many tend to have dress codes. Belly-dancing performances and cabaret are typical offerings at the nightclubs in most Abu Dhabi hotels. Other bars and nightclubs feature themed nights and stage shows – and a number of venues host food festivals as well.
You’ll find jazz bars, piano bars and Irish- and English-themed pubs as well. Pubs and clubs usually stay open late, with many not closing until around 03:00. The best nights out tend to be Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays (the weekend), as venues organise special events on these days. For sports enthusiasts, a number of bars screen major events.
