In addition to flights from London’s Gatwick and Heathrow airports, flights from Manchester, Frankfurt, Singapore and Toronto, Canada arrive on a regularly scheduled basis.
A wide range of facilities is featured in this very modern airport, with upgrades being added constantly. You’ll find a bank, currency exchange and a post office as well as bars, cafes, restaurants and duty-free shops. There’s a luxury hotel located at the airport, boasting business and conference facilities; and a golf course is also available onsite.
Use of the City Terminal is free of charge for first- and business-class passengers; and available to economy class passengers for a reasonable fee.

Transportation: transfer to the centre is quite straightforward, as the city operates a shuttle service connecting the airport with points in the city on a 24-hour basis. For those who prefer taxi or limousine services, there are plenty of options available; and limousine service can be arranged at the airport’s transportation counter in the arrivals area.
For those who prefer to drive during their stay in Abu Dhabi, car hire companies are represented at the airport, in the arrivals area. The highway leading away from the airport was specifically built to service traffic to and from the city; and as it approaches the city, it divides into three separate routes, leading into different sectors of the city.
Parking: both short- and long-term parking needs are catered for at the Abu Dhabi airport, in car parks that are situated close to the passenger terminal. There’s an air-conditioned tunnel linking the car parks with the main terminal building. In all, more than 500 short-term and 200 long-term parking spaces are available.
