Surmeli Hotel Istanbul - Istanbul

This is a good value for money hotel, although transport is required to and from the city centre.

The medium sized rooms are well decorated in a variety of colour schemes, mainly in brown and beige colours. The tiled bathrooms are kept in fairly good condition with light marble sinks.

The main restaurant is fairly small and located on the basement floor around an attractive plant and flower arrangement. A selection of international cuisine is served, as well as some Turkish speciality dishes.

The large lobby is open and airy with a large bar and seating area to the right. The lobby opens out to an atrium area with the restaurant and coffee shop below. The long marble reception is to the left of the main entrance.

This is a modern building in residential style, in keeping with the surrounding architecture. There is a small car park/ coach drop-off point in front of the hotel.
