Introduction to Kusadasi - Kadinlar Denizi
The resort of Kusadasi is on Turkey's west coast and faces across the Aegean Sea to the Greek island of Samos. Soft sandy beaches stretch all the way around the sheltered bay here as far as the peninsula that contains Dilek National Park. Ladies Beach, or Kadinlar Denizi in Turkish, takes its name from the days when women had separate bathing areas. Nowadays this segregation no longer exists and the beach is one of Kusadasi's most popular. There is a fine selection of Kadinlar Denizi hotels along the beach, which are close to restaurants, bars and clubs. Sun beds and pedalo rental, jet-skiing, banana boat rides and parasailing are all available here. Visitors to Kadinlar Denizi have a number of interesting daytrips that can be taken from here to choose from and these include Dilek, Guzelcamli, Kadikalesi Castle, Okuz Mehmet Pasha Caravanserai and Kirazli village.
