Introduction to Kas - Beach

In the far southern reaches of Turkey is the coastal town of Kas, a popular spot for travellers seeking a quiet place for sun and sea within an ancient Lycian environment. There are several beaches at Kas along its Cukurbag Peninsula, but all of them are rocky instead of sandy and few are more than 10 metres wide. If you can do without the sand, the atmosphere here is magical and the smooth rock shelves that drop off into the Mediterranean Sea are perfect for sunbathing and hanging out.
