Introduction to Kalkan - City Centre
The historic and enchanting town of Kalkan is definitely one of the most stunning destinations along the awe-inspiring Turkish Lycian coast. Its atmosphere not ruined by mass tourism, the town remains an unspoiled and idyllic haven of ancient history, brilliant architecture, lush nature, sparkling blue waters and traditional Turkish hospitality. Kalkan City Centre hotels offer comfortable and well-equipped guest accommodation units, making stays as convenient as possible. After sunset the city, with its narrow streets and distinctive architecture that owes its origin to Ottoman-Greek influences, comes alive due to the numerous eateries, quaint little boutiques, lively bars and laid-back cafes. The town is home to more than 40 restaurants serving everything from popular international dishes to traditional Turkish cuisine. Many restaurants present an open buffet including a comprehensive selection of starters (meze) that is followed by grilled meat or seafood. Turkish dining starts with several appetisers followed by the chief course and it ends with dessert or fruit plus the very sweet Turkish coffee.other spellings: kalkanhotels citycentre, kalken city otel, kalkan hotell center, kakan hote centre
