Introduction to Istanbul - Visnezade
Visnezade is a part of Istanbul near the New City and Galata districts. It contains a pleasant mix of large city parks, waterfront along the Bosphorus and cultural sites such as Dolmabahce Palace. On the western edge of this neighbourhood is the massive Macka Park, an incredible green space bordered by some of the finest Visnezade hotels. Besiktas Inonu Stadium also adjoins Macka Park, playing host to the great football club of the same name. Several campuses of Istanbul Technical University are scattered throughout this neighbourhood, giving a lively student vibe to many of its bars and cafes. Visitors with an interest in religious structures will find many in this part of Istanbul, from the Ahmet Turani Hazretleri Temple to the Bezmi Alem Valide Sultan Mosque.
