Introduction to Antalya - Kundu
Just outside of the famous seaside resort town of Antalya is Kundu, an up-and-coming holiday resort area that is aiming to become the next hotspot with well-heeled travellers and second-home owners. Located between the posh enclave of Lara and the inland village of Aksu, Kundu has big plans for itself including Turkey's largest golf course facility and a number of five-star resorts. Kundu hotels include opulent resorts and virtually nothing in the budget price range. Kundu is at the end of the Lara coastal road, ensuring guests have incredible privacy and stunning beaches all to themselves. The resorts here offer the only amenities around, but thankfully everything is upscale. For an infinitely greater range of restaurants, bars and shops, you'll need to head into Antalya, about 15 minutes along the coast. For an afternoon away from the beach, try Mehmet Nazif Gunal, a nice little park a few minutes' drive into the hills.
