Introduction to Tabarka, Tunisia
On the north-western most point of Tunisia is the coastal town of Tabarka, which has much for visitors to see and do. The relatively small town has a historical past dating back to Roman times. Hotels in Tabarka range from luxurious suites to affordable guesthouses in the city centre. During the summer months the city can become crowded and it's advised to book your hotels in advance. The town castle is one of the city's most famous attractions and is stands proudly on the high cliffs along the coastline. The port of this town has a marina, which caters to large yachts that stop past the city whilst travelling the surrounding region. The marina is also home to some of the city's best restaurants, cafes and bars as well as five star Tabarka hotels. Shopping is interesting with several large open aired markets that sell handicrafts and fresh produce. The markets attract large crowds making a lively atmosphere.other spellings: tabaka otel, tabarkahotels, tarbarka hotell, tabarca hotes, hote in tabarkar, tebarka
