Wisconsin Travel Guide
Located in the north of the United States, bordering Canada, Wisconsin is a mid-sized state nestled between two of the Great Lakes: Lake Superior and Lake Michigan. Wisconsin offers towering mountains and majestic lakes, making it a haven for outdoor sports enthusiasts. In the summer, visitors can enjoy hiking, canoeing, biking and horseback riding, while in the winter activities include skiing, sledding, snowmobiling and ice skating. The most popular national parks include the Ice Age Scenic Trail and Nicolet National Forest. The capital of Wisconsin is Madison, although Milwaukee is the largest city in the state and probably better known. There are two international airports in the state, Austin Straubel (Green Bay) and General Mitchell (Milwaukee).
