Indiana Travel Guide
The state of Indiana boasts the largest number of interstate highways in the country and has been dubbed the ?Crossroads of America.? Its capital, Indianapolis, is home to the world-famous racetrack where the world-famous Indianapolis 500 is held. This is largely a rural state known for corn and pig farms, with pork tenderloin being one of its culinary hallmarks. Indiana has been the birthplace of more vice-presidents than any other US state. There?s plenty here for nature lovers to explore, including the Indiana Dunes, with flora ranging from prickly pear cactus to more than 20 varieties of orchids, and Wolf Park, where a substantial population of wolves still roam. Those interested in history can head to Fort Wayne and visit the Lincoln Museum.
