Idaho Travel Guide
The humble potato may not be the first thing you associate with Idaho, but it probably should be. The state?s agricultural backbone has earned it the nickname the ?Spud State?. Located in the Pacific northwest of the US, Idaho?s capital Boise is also its largest city. The state is known for its natural beauty, with Yellowstone National Park the Craters of the Moon and Hagerman Fossil Beds National Moments the most popular destinations. Boise is a relatively small state capital, but the city has its own charm, with plenty of museums and cultural events, the most famous being the Gene Harris Jazz Festival held every spring. Spokane International Airport, in the northern part of the state, is the main gateway for international travellers.
