Arkansas Travel Guide
Arkansas is probably most famous as the home town of former President Bill Clinton. Bordered by six states: Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Montana and Oklahoma, it is dominated by the Mississippi River. Little Rock, which lies almost in the centre of the state, is also the capital of Arkansas. Here, visitors can explore the William J. Clinton Presidential Centre, which includes the infamous presidential library. Arkansas has plenty to offer in terms of outdoor activities, as many people hike in the Ozark mountains or enjoy water sports at Buffalo National Park or Hot Springs National Park. The primary gateway to Arkansas is Little Rock National Airport, which provides onward international connections through its larger counterparts, such as Chicago and St. Louis.
