However, it's usually a good idea to stick with recognised travel guide names and official tourist information sites. Travel blogs are another useful source that focus more on individual commentary and opinions. Lonely Planet is many people's preferred publisher for printed guides, with an excellent series that includes regional and country-specific guides on the Caribbean. They also cover more specialist subjects such as a diving and snorkelling guide around the Caribbean and a regional food guide.
