However, Haiti is a paradise in the Caribbean and a favourite holiday destination for those seeking sun and sand. The country is rich in culture, hosting a wonderful mixture of French and African elements, and many visitors fall in love with the rich cuisine here. Haiti’s capital is Port-Au-Prince, a bustling city with over one million residents, and this is where most visitors first arrive at. From here, visitors can go to the numerous resorts along the coast. The sun and sand are not the only attractions in Haiti, however.
