Shopping: is best enjoyed along Hue’s main thoroughfare, Le Loi Street. There are numerous souvenir stalls here that sell mostly tourist tack, although some fascinating items can be found if you know what you’re doing. Velvet Ho Chi Minh's and commemorative spoons may not be authentic but, among the general rabble, offer the best bang for the buck. Le Loi Street is also home to several quality silversmiths where elaborate jewellery can be bought.
