Weather

Weather in Phuket
Dry season, from the end of November the rains subside and visitors will enjoy endless sunny days through until February, with cooler temperatures averaging 25 Celsius over the Christmas period, so that air conditioning is barely needed in rooms.
This is the best time to visit as monthly rainfall drops to an average of 40mm and the humidity falls. As the season progresses, however, the vegetation gets drier and less lush. From March onwards it begins to get hot and by April is unpleasantly warm away from the sea breezes on the coast.
You may be lucky and experience mostly sunshine in July, while May could present weeks of overcast monsoon weather. Humidity is the most unpleasant aspect of the rainy season, leaving people sticky throughout the day and night, and a fan or air-conditioning helps dissipate the moisture. However, it leaves the landscape lush and green, which is very attractive.
