Getting There

Getting to Pattaya
By shuttle bus: shuttles from Bangkok airport depart to Pattaya daily at 09.00, 12.00, and 19.00. Travel time is about 1 hours, 30 minutes. Make reservations at the Thai Limousine Service in the Thai Airways arrival lounge: the fare is reasonable and even a private service is affordable.
By bus: air-conditioned buses depart from the Eastern Bus Terminal in Bangkok (Ekkamai) to the Pattaya Bus Station on North Pattaya Road, with journeys taking approximately 2 hours, 30 minutes.
By rail: few visitors to Pattaya are aware that the city does have a railway station. It is north of Sukhumvit Road close to the Siam Country Club. One train a day leaves Bangkok Railway Station (Hualamphong) at 07:00 and takes five hours to work its way down to Pattaya.
