The rains disappear towards the end of October and from then on, Krabi has almost five months of continual sunshine with the occasional cloudy day or light unseasonable shower. The cooler temperatures average 25°C over the Christmas period, and air conditioning is barely needed in rooms.

Monthly rainfall drops to an average of 40mm and the humidity is barely noticeable. By March however, the vegetation is drier and less lush. April is unpleasantly hot unless you benefit from seas breezes.

Humidity is the most unpleasant aspect of the rainy season, leaving people sticky throughout the day and night, and a fan or air-conditioning helps dissipate the moister. However, the rains leave the landscape lush and green, which is very attractive.
