Krabi Airport has a modest terminal and is located about 15 minutes drive south of Krabi Town, with a further 15 minutes to Ao Nang. It has a bureau de change, ATMs, food and drinks vendors and convenience shops.

Four flights a day arrive from Bangkok, departing from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 08:05; 12:30; 16:10; 19:20 and returning at 10:05; 14:30; 18:10; 21:20. There are also budget flights leaving Singapore on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:55 and returning at 13:10. Flight times are 1 hour, 20 minutes and 1 hour, 45 minutes respectively.

Transportation: is a simple affair from Krabi Airport, as there are no public buses and all people arriving must take a taxi to their resort area, with somewhat inflated but affordable rates. From Phuket Airport, a private shuttle to Krabi is the most convenient option, but unless there are several of you, it becomes very expensive.

However, the alternative of getting a taxi into Phuket Town to find a bus to Krabi takes much longer. It’s best to arrange a transfer through your hotel.

Parking: is offered free in a lot with limited space, yet it seldom gets full.
