Getting There

Getting to Hua Hin
By flight: there are several chartered flights to Hua Hin that are operated by SGA Airlines. Flying time is approximately 45 minutes. Flights also arrive daily from Phuket and Samui. On arrival passengers can get a metered taxi to town which is just north of the airport. The airlines website can be found at www.sga.co.th.
By train: there are several daily train services available from Bangkok’ Hua Lamphong train station to Hua Hin’s train station which is very close to the town. The services include; express services that take about four hours, regular train services taking about five and a half hours and overnight trains. The trains are fairly comfortable but not all services are air-conditioned.
Taxi, van and limousine services are available from a number of pick up points in Bangkok including the Don Muang Airport, Khao San Road and several hotels in the city.
By bus: several buses depart from Thailand’s main bus station at Mor Chit to Hua Hin every half hour on a daily basis between 04.20 and 16.20. Not all buses are air conditioned and passengers should check with the booking officer to ensure they get an air conditioned bus. The journey takes up to four hours with a short stop for passengers to stretch their legs.
