Of course, most people come to enjoy the beach and since the large Thai crowds shy away from harsh sun, the endless beach is usually all yours until late afternoon.
4 WD Adventure: visitors can choose to join a 4WD tour that will take them to the Tung Yai Naresuan Wildlife Sanctuary. Here visitors can swim in clear water pools, visit the local tribes and enjoy the bird and wildlife in the area.
Golf: there are several golf courses to choose from either at Hua Hin or a short drive away. The courses are all well maintained and the oldest course is the Royal Hua Hin Golf Course just behind the Railway Station.
Biking trip: there are some tour operators that hire bicycles or arrange to take visitors on tours of Hua Hin and the areas nearby. The tours usually take about four hours.
Shopping: small shops are scattered all around Hua Hin and the neighbouring area, selling items made from shells and drift wood, clothing, jewellery, silverware, plants and all sorts of other curios. Kumara, a woven cloth that is unique to the area, is also available. The Hua Hin Bazaar is only 100 metres away from the beach.
