Introduction to Rayong - Laem Maephim
Laem Maephim is situated in Rayong and consists of a four kilometre stretch of sand. The beach has enough space to accommodate tourists and it is even possible to rent deck chairs here. In addition to rentals, many restaurants have shaded seating areas so that you can enjoy the beach while you wait for your food. Bars on the beach sell cocktails, beers and other alcoholic refreshments. Most of the restaurants are concentrated at the east end while the west end provides a quieter area to sit and relax. Laem Maephim is becoming more popular among both international and Thai tourists. Seafood is a speciality offered at many of the Thai restaurants here, and there are delicious fresh fish dishes available. Souvenirs and dive shops can be found at the east end of the island.
