Nai Yang Beach is an area of Phuket that is known more for its simplicity rather than its expensive resorts and fast-paced development. Being part of Sirinat National Park has meant that the beach and the surrounding area has kept much of its natural beauty. The beach is popular among kite surfing enthusiasts because of the strong breeze and the large sandy area. It is possible to simply relax on a sun lounger or eat seafood at one of the beach's restaurants. Nai Yang Market is situated close to the beach and a great spot to pick up a souvenir. Wat Nai Yang is one of the more spectacular Buddhist temples on Phuket and visitors are free to stroll around the grounds.
