Introduction to Phang Nga - Natai Beach
Natai, a two kilometre long beach, is situated in Phang Nga district. It is easy to access because it is south of Phuket, at only 27kms from Phuket Airport or a 30 minute drive. The beach is secluded and is not a well-known tourist hub. Natai Beach hotels offer views over the beautiful Andaman Sea. Activities here include sunbathing and swimming. There are many luxury homes in the area, which lead straight onto the beach. The beach is close enough to Phuket to make use of Phuket's amenities but it offers respite from the usual crowds of visitors. Not far to Natai is Yacht Haven Marina, which is a major docking point for larger boats. Visitors can make daytrips to waterfalls and there are walking trails through the forest. This is the ideal spot to go for a picnic, an activity that is suitable for the whole family. Golf lovers can practice their swing at the two nearby golf course of Blue Canyon Golf and Thai Muang.
