The ancient city of Nakhon Sawan is situated west of the Chao Praya River in the lower northern region of Thailand. There are a variety of attractions to see during your stay in one of the hotels in Nakhon Sawan. Sawan Park was once a huge swamp known as Nong Som Bun. Later it was developed into a park with an exterior of two ring roads. The island between the rings is a beautiful park offering impressive lawns, gardens, a rose garden, a fountain and a waterfall. Bung Boraphet is the largest aquaculture providing freshwater fish in Thailand. Here you can visit the aquarium, which displays several species of fresh water fish. Bird watchers will enjoy this area as it attracts migratory birds. There is also a museum here and nearby it a little lake with crocodiles, with breeding facilities as well.
