Introduction to Mukdahan - City Centre
Mukdahan has an ancient history that dates back to the Ayutthaya period. It is a gateway to the Indochinese countries and it has a good relationship with Laos. It features the Mekong River and there are eight ethnic minorities living in the region including the Phu Thai, the Thai Yo and the Thai Kula. A trip to Mukdahan provides visitors with a relaxing holiday among nature. There are restaurants selling delicious Thai cuisine as well as street stalls. Some establishments specialise in western food and cappuccinos are also available. The Indochine Market sells a range of items including second-hand goods at bargain prices. After a day of shopping, tourists can rest at one of the Mukdahan City Center hotels which are conveniently located in the vicinity of the market and restaurants. The Phu Manorom is a hilltop temple which offers a scenic view of the surrounding area. You can reach this area from Bangkok via Highway 2. Buses depart from Bangkok Bus Terminal while trains depart daily from Bangkok's Hua Lamphong Railway Station.other spellings: mukdahanhotels city center, mukdaharn otel, mugdahan hotell, mukdhahan hote, mookdahan hotle
