Introduction to Krabi - Koh Jum
Krabi is known for its picturesque islands that are surrounded by stunning limestone karsts and the Andaman Sea. Although Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta are the most visited of these islands, there are also some much quainter ones that make for fantastic holiday destinations. Ko Jum can be found midway between the mainland and Koh Lanta, and is easy to get to by ferry. It consists of three villages and six beaches, and there is a good selection of Koh Jum hotels and beach bungalow operations on the west coast. The northern part of the island is made up of Mount Pu and there are plenty of trails for an afternoon of trekking. Once at the top, there are some magnificent views of the sea as well as some of Krabi's other islands. There are some terrific dive sites nearby and diving and snorkelling trips are popular.
