Samui South is the lesser visited and undeveloped part of the island, consisting of coconut groves and Muslim fishing villages. It’s a good indication of how the island once was and offers a serene experience away from the hectic tourist spots. There are some lovely secluded beaches, such as Thaling Nam bay. Also found here are several unusual temples and pagodas and an aquarium.
