Introduction to Koh Samet - Ao Pakarang
Situated on the southern tip of the Thai holiday island of Koh Samet, Ao Pakarang is among the island's most beautiful and most secluded beaches and boasts everything one might hope for in a Samet getaway, plus the added bonus of lashings of peace and quiet. Visitors staying in Ao Pakarang hotels and resorts can enjoy some of the finest seafood on the island as well as a pretty white sand beach cradled by shady trees and small boulders. Just a short stroll away via the network of walking trails is Ao Kiu Na Nok, which features fairly good snorkelling straight from the beach and is a great spot for enjoying the island's lovely sunsets. Additional attractions include relaxing traditional Thai massage sessions, fire spinning and Thai Boxing matches on some weekends and holidays, though these may be a short boat ride, taxi or stroll away from Ao Pakarang to the busier beaches just to the north.
