Chang island has become Thailand’s newest booming tourist island and sells itself as an eco-tourism destination with its hilly, forested landscape that limits development of the island. It lies remotely in the southeast corner of the gulf of Thailand near the Cambodian border and isn’t as easy to get to as the Southern Thailand destinations, yet is does have some excellent resources and a fantastic natural environment.
