Introduction to Khao Lak - Khuk Khak Beach
Khuk Khak is an uncrowded beach that is located in Khao Lak. There is an inlet here which is only accessible during low tide that provides access to palm trees and beautiful views. The beach is four kilometres long and is situated north of Bang Niang. If you travel inland, there is a rural community where you can go shopping and explore the local markets. This is a good place to go shopping for fresh produce or souvenirs. To reach the beach, you can follow the signs from Khuk Khak village and exit the main road along the trail which leads to the ocean. There are numerous Khuk Khak Beach hotels in this area, ranging from resorts to those offering cheap rooms. Visitors can go hiking through the beautiful scenery to find hidden sites and isolated beaches. There is a variety of birds to be spotted and if you are lucky, you may see monkeys.
