Introduction to Hat Yai - City Centre
Hat Yai is in the southern part of Thailand, with a vibrant developing tourist business, good restaurants and entertainment. Although it is one of the bigger places in Thailand it is not one of the regular stopping places for international visitors. However it has a good following amongst the Thai community. The Hat Yai hotels in the city centre include some very fine properties with great facilities such as swimming pools, fitness rooms and top quality restaurants. At the other end of the scale there are plenty of hotels in Hat Yai city centre which are ideal for the budget traveller on a tour of Thailand and looking for one of the less expensive hotels in Hat Yai. The nearby Songhla beach is quiet in comparison to many other Thai resorts which make for a more relaxing trip.
